As for the numerous other DLCs the Twine and/or RPG Maker version of “Les 4 Alice”, “A.L.A.N” etc they are added to the Ren’py version.

Back in November 2019, I really was in a bad phase and I believed (oh so wrongly) that everything I had released on Steam was crappy/low-quality/asset-flip.

While some of my works are of a questionable quality, I won’t deny that, others are good and even my “worst work” (selling-wise) had buyers! Yes, I didn’t make much cash with them, but I had a blast doing everything and I want to do more. Take note that I won’t give new updates for the returning apps. Support will also be limited.

I’m proud to announce that “ChatAid” is coming soon on Steam.

Description:
When you found a wacky program on your PC called “ChatAid”, you ended up in a chatroom. Someone needs your help.

Features
* A short story written in Ren’py, in Two Parts, with 4 endings in total.
* You can choose your name, nickname and gender.
* Steam achievements.

Unlike my previous works, which were always bilingual (French and English), ChatAid and any future stories will be English Only. Why? For simplicity’s sake.

French is my mother tongue, yes, but it’s also a very complex language compared to English, and it’s so much harder to write stories with character customization in French.

For example, I had trouble getting “neutral” words in French for Ivanoile and Nuri, since they are nonbinary. In English, it was so easy to do. “Hir”, “they”, “them”. Done.

I also got the bad habit for making a lot of typos in French, unlike in English, and getting proofreaders is difficult. (Also I’m not a very patient person and waiting for the typos fix while x story would be ready for release is really annoying!)

And, well, Steam sells all over the world and the English text is the most read. So English Only for now on.

* No more language switch, FR/EN in one!

* The keys (A, D etc) in the QTE events will now appear in color.

Ren’py is updated to 7.2.2.!

With the “A” key, you’ll get a menu (the accessibility screen) where you can change the default font for Dejavu Sans or Opendyslexic. The text size can also be changed. Said “A” key would still work during the QTE sequences, since the accessibility screen won’t be accessible there.

However, if you put the text too big, some lines will be cut/missing or some text will overflow (obliviously).
