Quarter glitch (?)

So, I did a dumb thing and put the quarter in the machine as soon as I got it because I wanted to see what it did and now I don't have a quarter for Wallus' quest, is there a way to get the quarter back or get a new quarter?

i did the exact same thing, i'm able to flip through the songs without paying again though?

you dont need to get a new one once its in, dont worry! as far as i am aware, it is absolutely impossible to softlock yourself in this game. :-)

I ended up restarting the game. I for some reason was not able to flip through the records, I think maybe it was because I left the game? As it was working before I left the game but not after.

I did the same thing. For me, I just didn't realize I had to use my hand to actually press the buttons and make the records rotate. If it's not working with the hand equipped though, then yeah you might have to restart.
