MXGP 3 was the height of this series. Unreal Engine improved visuals but it's worse everywhere else.

I went with 2019 and like the time trial quite a bit.

You will definitely want to get this game.

Get both! You can pick up MXGP 2019 for $27 (US) and MXGP Pro for $12 (US) on various game sites.

I like the physics and feel from 2019. It is a good one in my opinion.

Yes, 2019 certainly has potential. I think it probably needs a few patches to get it right... bikes slide all over the track more than Pro (IMHO)... and a few other things they need to straighten out.

MXGP 3 was the first game to introduce UE4...

Heheh +1
MXGP 2 was the last game using the old engine.

MXGP 2019 feels like a mix between MXGP3 and Pro, closer to Pro imo.
Not sure which is more fun, haven’t made enough laps, but MXGP3 appears to be a little easier on the casual player - 2019 closer to Pro.

MXGP19 seems to have more weight to the bike.
Weather looks a lot better.

Actually for fun I’d probably pick up SX2 instead.

MXGP 2019, for the only reason that you have a slight chance of recovering from a slide, while in MXGP Pro you were dead, especially on advanced settings. Otherwise this game is a let down in terms of ruts, the surface is identical to mxgp PRO that we had 1 year ago!
the physics are a lot more grounded in this game, i like it
