Random mode HELP!!

I've been trying to beat random level 100 for a few hours now. I keep getting deep into random mode and eventually end up on a poisoned map covered in water so no cannon balls can destroy the wall, and all my blue guys die after 10 seconds :( Is there a way to save, retry, build items that can prevent poison instantly killing my whole army? Playing 50+ minutes twice just to die to a map you have to beat in 10 seconds or you lose is making me SAD.

In the campaign - after every "bossfight". Oustide it - after every 10th

Thank you. Does a save after every tenth level include in endless mode?
