also, xbox controllers are infamous for having the worst dpads ever. You could be accidentally putting in extra dpad directions. I'd recommend trying a different controller if you still can't do it.
Xbox One controller is fine. The OG Xbox and 360 controllers were the ones with the terrible d-pad.
I love the DualSense Edge's dpad. You can more easily hit a single direction without hitting diagonal. Not to say you CAN'T accidentally hit a diagonal, just maybe less.
The 8bitdo pro 2 is fantastic if you like SNES style pads. I don't like their ultimate controller line due to the sticky face buttons, but the pro 2 has the 'spree candy' style buttons almost like SNES. Good for mashing.
True. I done the samething on my Dualsense didn't work. But when I do that on keyboard, it worked :D Thanks Zambrano :)
