I second this, Windows 10 and I've never had a hitch.
the games have the same slowdown as the originals had, correct?
I assume so but I mean if the slowdown isn't supposed to be there my games are broken as ♥♥♥♥ lol.
They are pretty much emulation, so yeah the slowdown is because of the limited tech of the systems they were on and the coding. Not much you can do about that stuff, unless they recode and remaster.

Forcing V-sync and locking to 60 FPS in GeForce Control Panel addressed any issues I was having.
