4:3 Aspect Ratio Problem

I love how they fit so many Contra Titles into this release and they play great, but I am really disappointed how they handled the aspect ratio.
I'm using a 5:4 Monitor (TV's are 4:3 CRT PC Monitors are 5:4) and I get black bars on top and bottom becaues the game was made with 16:9 in Mind and the funny thing is that these retro games were made for 4:3 Screens in the first place.
It really shouldn't be a problem to give us more resolution options.
If emulators can do it so can big companies.

We have the same problem with Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Edition which is from Capcom.
This shouldn't even be a thing.

The funny thing is that most of these ganes (if not all) were actually made for 8:7 screens

You mean games from Arcade Cabinets?
Well maybe Street Fighter but not Castlevania.

I just got the game & installed it. Game starts in a window and bottom & right edges of the window go off the screen. Is anyone else having this issue? Are full screen or borderless window options available?

There's no such thing a an 8:7 screen -- the games were made for 4:3 screens. You're confusing the pixel aspect ratio with screen ratio.
