Edit: If you want I can go over some of the tactics to beat this boss
How can you dudes think that I made it past 2 top down levels, one earlier top down boss, effectively beating both games and having all three related achievements (Contra III/Super Probotector/Beating all games) that I needed your dudes comments? Let alone help?
Maybe stop assuming whatever the ♥♥♥♥ you two were assuming. At least Nacht wasn't an ass about it, the initial assumption shouldn't have happened either though.
Just for the record, I KNOW how to TURN MY CHARACTER LEFT AND RIGHT BY PRESSING L/R RESPECTIVELY and I'm also well aware of double tapping and what else the ♥♥♥♥ could be mentioned here.
The turning DID NOT HELP IN MY CONTRA III NORMAL RUN, NORMAL, NOT HARD, NOT ACCIDENTALLY HARD, NORMAL.
About the issue, well I've checked Youtube videos of several versions, played through versions in the collection a second time (up to that boss) just to be sure :/
I'm not too bothered by it because I'll probably not play it anytime soon again, and if then probably only Probotector where it's unproblematic, just thought I'd put it out here and leave it be
