Except for Operation C, the Gameboy game, the one that had the smallest screen out of all of them is the only one with full 4:3
The scanlines wouldn't be so bad if they looked real, but they're super dark making it difficult to see small shots.
If you would like to turn the scanlines from disturbing to normal and nice you can:
That's what I did and it fixed the uneven and unusable scanlines issue. Scanlines look correct now. same fix also works for Castlevania Anniversary Collection, It improves the scanlines in Sega Mega Drive Classics and Megaman Legacy Collection as well. It might even work on other games where proper, accurate scaling is imperative or Windows scaling interferes with certain aspects of presentation.
