Are we able to apply romhacks to these games?

Hey, I was wondering if it was possible to patch these games with some rom hacks at all.

Depends on what's in the data file and if anyone can extract and repack the contents. So far no one has or has told the public how or what tools/programs to use. If there are ROMs in the data file and someone provides is the tools to extract and repack, I'd say yeah it could be done. Right now, as far as I know, no one has extracted from that file.

Unlikely, seeing as all data is in a single archive. A pity they didn't go the Sega route (in more ways than one...) and didn't include Workshop support. There's an absolutely wonderful romhack of Simon's Quest that fixes a lot of problems with the game.

Unless someone creates the necessary tool to extract the contents of that file and put it back together again without triggering an error or breaking things or something.

There is a tool now, check out this tutorial. I know it says Advance Collection, but I've just tested it and it works perfectly for Anniversary. Enjoy guys!
