Why no symphony of the Night??
Can we get this game on PC, why of all games would not include this.
If you would I'd actually buy it. I thought it was I included but shocked when I come here to buy it. You guys are out to lunch.

I think you might've missed like... I dunno, seven threads asking this very stupid question.
It's a collection of Classic-style Castlevania titles, sold and marketed as such. Also, it's been mentioned repeatedly that it's only the *first* Castlevania collection, which means there's at least another one on the way. No, they won't miss out on making some more money selling a 1997 PS1 title. Have some patience and do some research, k?

"because you can run it on an emulator" is one gem of an answer I saw here.

Do you work for Konami? because i all see from you on this board is how this is the 'classic' collection of games and that people are dumb for even wanting SOTN because it exists on other platforms.

I don't see ♥♥♥♥ about it being "classic" or the "first" Castlevania collection on the store page. But maybe we aren't all as huge of fanboys or employees as you?

Or maybe I only took, what, five seconds to go to Konami's official ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ twitter and see the word "first" written in plain English, clear as day.

"The Vampire Hunters are back!!

The first #Castlevania Anniversary Collection is out today on PlayStation®Store, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch™ eShop, & Steam/PC for SRP $19.99!"

Aside from being mentioned as being the "first" CV collection on multiple sites months before release. Google it.

And seeing as it's not the first of the Anniversary Collections lineup, there is no room for interpretation. It's the first Castlevania collection, as in there will be at the very least another one. My bet is two. They will probably milk Igavanias for all their worth.

As for the "classic" Castlevania collection part - it's on the Collection's official site.
https://www.konami.com/games/50th/ac/castlevania/us/en/

"This KONAMI Castlevania Collection is designed to be a collection around the origins of the historic franchise."

I don't know if you're as "employee" or "fanboys" as I am, but you definitely lack basic information gathering skills. Which is ironic for a fan of sub-series designed around exploration and finding secrets.

Isn't it obvious that symphony of the night is not included because the ps4 has the requiem bundle? I get that the other platforms don't have it, but it makes sense to not include symphony to keep things consistent. As for the argument they could have just ported the requiem bundle, wouldn't that not happen due to exclusivity deals?

SOTN isn't a part of the origins of the series, it is a part of a turning point in the series.

Also since PS4 has Requiem exclusively for now, it probably won't be released for a bit longer on PC. Now whether they port Requiem or do something else like a 2nd collection, is yet to be seen.
Then call the collection vol 1 and give me details about the other collection if my expextion of SotN is rediculious in a Anniversary collection. I mean Jesus Christ they already had Haunted Castle in their random ass other collections that mind you Also Have Garbage ratings/reviews because this is just some basic ROMs in an emulator ans many people have said they are poorly emulated.
KONAMI YOU NEED A BETTER VALUE PROPOSITION, so add SotN or something else to this if you want sales.

You do realize SotN wouldn't fix this collection because poor display options and non-remappable controls would still be a thing, right?

Also with Requiem being a recent PS4 exclusive, we might have to wait before Rondo and SOTN come to PC in whatever form they'll come in and hopefully will provide some better options including but not limited to display and control options.

If would fix the collection in a sense that they would rather PC players just pirate their games instead of just selling us what we would actually buy.

The wait will be hard

I believe they will release them. I would instantly buy on PC and Switch. They'd be stupid not to release them on other platforms besides PS4.

Because Sympathy of the night was available for purchase with Rondo of blood. Before this version came out just at the end of last year or so. Sadly I think it was only on ps4, maybe switch. This anniversary edition was made with the consoles in mind. Mostly to add to the already released version. I was surprised to see it on steam. But let's hope we get the ps4 sympathy of night and Rondo of blood games on steam port too. That would be nice. I'm not sure now if I should get the ps4 version since I already have the Sympathy night version on there or just get this on steam. Will need to check out to see if there are any differences and bugs. PC version will have bonuses if it runs well. With it just being on PC. Plus this is the more retro versions before the 32bit onwards which really changed the series. Especially when it went on the GBA and DS.

I agree but review bombing isn't going to help them get that mindset. But the same goes for the GBA and DS exclusives. Getting all the games on all the platforms is ideal.

And you wonder why companies don't care about PC anymore. With a lets just pirate attitude. Also steam lets you map controls. This is a non-issue. In fact, anyone not using a non-Xbox controller already needs to do this by default with every game. Display options would be the same for console versions and they can't fix them. But PC players can when all they need to do is edit the files that they have access to. But you don't hear the console players threaten to pirate, do you because of such silly issues?
