Is it possible to change button configs? they're fine for the NES games but I have trouble with CV4 and Bloodlines

Yes.

Has to be done individually for each game, far as I can tell, in the game's pause menu (LT by default with an Xbox controller or one masquerading as such).

How do you access this on a keyboard?

Press 1 to bring up the pause menu. Use arrow keys to navigate, Z to select, X for back / cancel.

If you were asking about keyboard controls in the OP, though, these *don't* appear to be customisable: what the "controls" menu lets you do is change the functions of the four face buttons & 3 of the four shoulder buttons (LT / L2 being reserved for the pause menu as noted).
Please add so we can change the KB controllers.

Cv4 and bloodlines don't have controls options, because they allready exist in the games themselves, after pressing 'start' you can go to options and edit controls as you want

So I noticed, but whatever changes I do in the options screen in CV4, they are not taken in account, I still get the default controls, which makes me think I sort of didn`t confirm the changes, but the only way to leave that screen is the start button, so I would expect this to be it.

For the life of me, it's either a bug or I'm missing something laughably obvious.

lol, mere seconds after writing my previous message, it occurred to me that this game was originally released on SNES, not Genesis (I had it confused with another one, I think), so the control options must be using the button layout of an SNES controller, not the standard Logitech PC controller. Hmm, gonna go test this right away.

You have to set up controls every time you start the game.
