Hopefully devs will make it work in the future..
Flatline, immediate crash on all versions Ex, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, GE8, GE7, GE6, GE5, even tried Hotfix, all on desktop after "fix." Make sure your game actually works, thieves.
As reported by Firehawke, I also tested it successfully. Can be executed smoothly on Deck.
I should only do two steps for your reference.
1. Copy C:\Windows\System32\XAudio2_9.dll from win10 to the game folder.
2. Enter
Nice, that got the game to load. Thanks for the heads-up.
Are y’all getting this game to run on windows on steam deck or Linux. On ProtonDB one person says to put a windows audio file into the game folder.
Ah, sorry. For me, I couldn't get it work on older Windows versions but the stated audio file did work on a Linux Mint install of Steam. Once I had the xaudio2_9.dll in the folder and the command line modifications that evolution recommended, the game loaded with Proton Experimental.
Can I download that file through Linux on Steam Deck? If so, where can I. Thanks for any help.
Disregard my last post. I found the file on dll-files. I downloaded the 64bit version. I put it in the games main folder and set the compatibility to experimental. I didn’t have to add a command line. It starts right up.
