Heck yes.
Wwll i still own life force and contra original cartridges for my nes. But pc is nice.
As for me, what ends up killing this for me is that it's not the Japanese versions of the games if you're not in Japan. Nemesis and Vulcan Venture have way too many changes in terms of the gameplay balance in comparison to Gradius and Gradius II. Then there's plenty of other differences compared to the versions that people actually play on other stuff.
If it were based on the Japanese versions for everyone or even had an option to choose between the versions (like Simpson's Arcade 360/PS3) or Capcom Arcade Cabinet(PS3/360), this would have went into my wishlist.
That is an actual important thing when the community that competes tends to play the Japanese versions of the arcade games due to them being the more popular ones or due to better balance.
Change steam to jo two weeks, buy it.
