No Wonder Haunted Castle Never Had A Console Port!

Pretty sure Haunted Castle is the arcade version of Castlevania. Although, I think the console game came first and then they made HC, but I'm not sure on that.

It's a 16 bit remake of CV1, but they did some interesting things with it.

Which version of the rom is in the international version? K (difficulty in line with all other versions) or M (hard original US version)?

Was Haunted Castle an arcade game? I never saw it anywhere if it was. I grew up in the arcade era.

Some arcade games were incredibly rare. I saw HC only once in late '89.

Yeah, I spent my fair share of time in the arcades myself, and I think A-Jax was the only one of these I've ever played. Probably the only one I've ever seen.

But I loved the NES and SNES ports of the Gradius/Lifeforce games.
