in the cliffhanger mission, i can't even pass the first cliff. i stick one icepick and then i cant stick the other one. what to do please help

Press each mouse button one after another. So 'right' then 'left', You'll get the hang of it.

you have to keep the mouse button down for as long as you need the pick in, so right hold, then left hold and then right release, takes a little bit of getting used to

is it normal that the game says in the first swing to press the right mouse but the left icepick is swinged and then it says to hold right mouse to swing the right icepick?

Right (hold it down) left (hold it down) and so on. Let go of the button you are holding when you dig the ice.

No, this was for Windows. No idea how it's done on MAC.
