Is it safe to play single player?

I know multiplayer is completely ruined and extremely dangerous, as you'll get hacked and your hard drive will get wiped, but can I at least play multiplayer without getting hacked?

Update: I got I4WX a month ago, 10/10 highly recommend if you want to relive the classic multiplayer experience without getting ur PC wiped. Anyway, thanks for letting me know that singleplayer is safe to play, I appreciate it :D

Singleplayer is safe if you want multiplayer you could try the basic set up but it's recommended to install iwx I believe it's called

Thanks, I found out about IWX a month (along with alterw*re) and I've been reliving MW2 like it's 2009 again. I'm really glad they made a safe way to play multiplayer again :)
