Try it. I have no idea about AMD and ATI, but that is what solve problem for many Nvida users.
Its set to 0 by default.Btw same problem is with mw3.used to run smooth maxed out,now im getting even 15fps in intense battles/burninr/smoke areas.Just wtf is this. Both games uses around 70% of cpu and maybe 500mb gpu memory. So its not like it has not enough power.
But, it could be that youre new GPU-drivers is the problem. Try install some older driver. You dont need the newest with that old specs.
Before problem appeared i was using 14.12. version. Its last of whql drivers i think. Also before reinstall and psu replacement i was using it too, also newest drivers.i was testing perfomance and stuff.and everything worked fine,no drops. Also i know AA is off, vsync also off.
I think no.Power options are on perfomance, also amd catalyst also set graphic on perfomance.Monitor setup is still 60hz (TV) .everythng feels the same.I dont feel difference in any other games except for Bioshock remastered 1 and now those 2 MW games.even witcher 3 runs on my 4gb system ram with 40fps in town, low settings ofc.
In game there is an option called: "Optimal Video and Audio". Try that in both campaign and MP and change resolution to auto, AA(off), Texture to Manual; 3 texture under to High, save and quit. Then start again and play camp. or specops and see if there is still the same.
Make sure youre config.cfg and configmp.cfg are NOT read only before you do this, or nothing will be chaged when you quit game.
In Nvidia, there is a program called - Geforce Experience - In there i can set all games to optimal for my gpu. I do that often and after every new driver install. Then i turn off AA in-game. Thats the way for me to get the best settings for MW2 and other games. Make sure you have the same Hz in game and in settings for GPU.
Reactive pilots has proven that human eye can see atleast 150+ frames per second.:)
i`ve done all that before.Nothing changed.I just dont understand what is wrong. If i had that low fps before, then i wouldnt be complaining, but i know it used to run very smooth,so im freaked out.
When you write "Nothing Changed". What OS are you running? Some resently update?
EX:
I have an SSD-disk for my games. I use a trimprogram for it, and use performance. When Win-update DL and install, it changes, and eneble a win-function that slows down ssd-performance. Can it be some OS functions that now is enebled and slows down fps?? This problem have to be software/driver, but you need to find back to the settings you had before. MW2 should be running fine on youre computer.
OS is the same as it used to be,also with sp1 upgrade from microsoft site.
