Game stuttering with high end pc?

[oldschool runescape]

I can easily manage over 90 fps while running multiplayer but it looks as if its running on 30fps with stuttering. is there a fix to this or do i have to run the game at a lower resoultion to reduce the stuttering???

specs:

i7-6700K
16GB RAM
GTX 1070
1920x1080 display

also don't want to have to refund this game, had lots of fun with it on xbox.

It also seems smoother to run on an xbox then a $2000 PC :steamhappy:

hmmm if my potato runs this at 60 fps, it might be your game or gpu settings... did you turn of v-sync in game?

i turned everything off, lowered all the settings and im still getting this chopped fps look.

and yes all my drivers are up to date

Theres some setting that does this, at least it exists in blops 1 and 2, in there its called "Sync Every Frame", if its there then turn it off

think i fixed it by upping my refresh rate to 144hz
