Couldn't load image 'falloff_linear'
I keep getting this error everytime i want to play the campaign and i don't know what to do.
I believed it was because of iwx4 so i uninstalled it but no, the error keeps poping up

Go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2\main

(That's my install location, yours might be different)

And DELETE any file with filename that begins with iw_dlc* or iw_china_00.iwd

You can make a copy of them or zip them (compressed) so that you have them if you need them in the future. After I delete those files, single player launched perfectly fine. Note the file names have "dlc" in them so sholdn't be needed, not even in theory, for Single-Player. (I even tested multiplayer DLC maps after deleting those files...and the multiplayer DLC maps still worked, so that's nice.)
