play cod mw2 pirate on steam

Yesterday I started cod mw2 (pirate) and I decided to start multiplayer mode and it took me to the steam store page of the cod mw2. so I wanted to ask ... if I buy the mw2 cod in steam and start the multiplayer in the mw2 pirate the game will start the multplayer mode on the pirate version or will I have to install cod mw2 again? (sorry for bad english, i am brazilian)

If you want to play MW2 online with a pirated copy then you must use a third party option for that. ♥♥♥♥(EDIT: Appears they censor the service a lot of users use these days to play on private servers. If you Google enough then you should be able to find out what I'm talking about) is a popular choice these days for playing on private servers. They even have new maps with that service that you can't get with the official game's servers.

my friend told me to buy the game and move the pirate copy to the steam folder, go to the game properties and check the integrity of the files. so that the steam delete the crack of the game and download what is missing. So I will not have to download everything again. Can this work?

don't buy this game, u will struggle finding games better download the crack with patches and just paste in the game directory....u can easily find games there it also has a server browser which makes it a lot easy
Note: there is no space between i w 4 x.....i don't know why steam doesn't display it as a single word

Guys, I love the game. It's a masterpiece imo. However, the damn thing is 13 years old. I'm not about to go pay Activision for a game that they no longer maintain.

Search for i w 4 x on Google (remove spaces). It's the best way to play the game multiplayer as it adds a lot of new maps & weapons, adds dedicated servers, mod support, sever browser instead of just matchmaking, has the DLC included.

You downloaded from a torrent (probably) and steam downloading is faster than a torrent. also its literaly 15 dollars

download 1 w x 4 and play for free. no need to torrent unless you want story mode,
