Game Error On Launch (Win 7 x64)

Running win7 x64.

Clicking 'play' in the Steam library window does nothing. It just says 'preparing to launch' and nothing happens.

On manually running the .exe I get, "AoEDE_S.exe - Entry Point Not Found" "The procedure entry point MFCreateDXGIDeviceManager could not be located in the dynamic link library MFPlat.DLL."

Am I missing some dependencies here...? MFPlat is the 'media foundation' for something or other, I had issues with that when I was trying to run I think it was Resident Evil 7 on Ubuntu through Lutris.

So my guess is that the game's trying to play a movie or something and it... can't do that. So the game doesn't launch.

I refunded the game since I don't plan on downgrading to Windows 10 any time soon.

I encourage other users to do the same, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

going to refund can not understand why they don't support win 7. had windows 10 and its crap.
