No multiplayer or LAN available
Game was working fine, multiplayer was available and worked ok yesterday. This evening both the LAN and Multiplayer options are "greyed out" and not available. Have internet access, rebooted game and pc but wont work.
Any ideas?

It seems to be offline. I think waiting is the best option

of course now its a question of how long i wait for Multiplayer before ditching my friends and just opting for single play

can definitive edition play online with 2013 edition??

So I've found (haven't studied to see if this is the case for sure) that as long as the PC in plugged into in the LAN via a ethernet cable then LAN button lights up. WiFi doesn't seem to work for LAN mode.

Can definitive edition play offline with LAN or do you have to be hooked to Steam for it to operate? No point in buying it if it won't multiplay completely offline.

Nope, you must be connected to Xbox Live service, so no offline.
