I think the game could use a bit of balancing. Once the 15 minute mark comes, it jut gets so much harder. I think a larger profit margin would be the best way to mitigate this. Or, just a free for all mode. I could easily put in hours into this if there were a mode where the time didn't matter.

Another way would be to make the penalty for missing less or even null. I already have to spend money on the materials. In a real world setting, the only money I lose on a missed deadline is the cost of materials and potential sale. I don't suddenly just lose 20 bucks I already own because my customer couldn't wait any longer.

But for real, 5 seconds for a shield, isn't happening, even with the forge maxed out.

same thing here. at first its great, then when people expects you to fullfil their order within 10 seconds, way too hard.

Sure, it makes you think about preparing in advance, but when there is 2 person at the same time coming with short time order for multiple item, man, could they damn be patient?!

time wouldnt be a big issue if when the customer decided to ♥♥♥♥ off just does that, it shouldnt steal money out of me D:<

Just had a similar experience.
Prepared several daggers and swords in advance.
Two customers come up, bying like 2 swords, 1 shield and 4 daggers all together.
All preperation gone. Went back to craft 4 daggers again as quick as possible (Oven is on 3/3, Grinder on 2/3), BAMMM! Another two customers ordering 2 lances, 1 axe, 1 sword and 4 daggers.
I was like: ♥♥♥♥♥ please...
