Normally though, I never keep track so I have no idea. I might beat that in the current run where im carrying absolutely everything with me.
443 litres of gas
60 litres of oil
200 litres of water
25 slabs of bacon
2 sponges
1 bucket.
So far the wartburg estate with golf engine combination is doing excellently, and im nudging up my average speed bit by bit to balance fuel/food burn.
Oh wait, i CAN beat your record. Easily. The time I hijacked a UFO. Did over 1000 km.
I won't use it again as it's pretty overkill. I like the Fury now and I carry lots of gas. Fuels pretty common in this game even with the tanker ship Nerf. I just stop at tanker ships close to the road until my reserves are full again.
When I'm doing long runs, I want to be driving as much as possible as stopping too much can really slow progress. The only POI's that I go to later on once I have everything are the buildings that can have enough loot for a one stop shop which are; Haunted houses, Diners and perhaps the bridge building though It's hit or miss.
Regardless all these POI's have water facets built in making water towers pointless and have the potential to spawn a lot of loot in one place so you don't need to stop as much. I don't really even stop at garages anymore once I have the vehicle I want fixed up.
