I got in the car and couldn't get out, couldn't figure out how to start it. What the hell do you do?

Best suggestion. Go to youtube and watch some people play. You can also find tutorials there that could help you get started.
theres something called tuto-
but on a more serious note, just search any tutorial on youtube or maybe check the games controls, that last one is something i allways do, helps whit games that have many mechanics bcs theres allways some self explanatory controls that give you an idea on what youre supposed to do

another idea is to just press ramdom buttons and see what each one does, this one is goated since its a certified classic

auto clutch auto shift, open the door look outside and press the get out button, hold W to start the car press "i" for on and off engine if you don't want to move

stop blaming the game and start blaming yourself

I actually prefer manual but that's just me coming from my summer car.

I guess the game was glitching out, couldn't get outta the car, car wasn't working. Restarted and everything was fine.

A bit...empty, but I'm trying to find content.

I think some of the cars need certain fuel mixtures. Oil / Fuel mix etc. Not sure if thats why it wouldn't start, but the fact that it wouldn't let me get out of the car despite having the symbol to do so, was annoying.

Embrace the Jank. Life is better that way. (Also, save often). Not sure if they've patched it, but you used to be able to craft a flying machine out of a toilet placed in a coffin.

I've never used this. Me and my buddies were just messing around and learned how the game works after a bit.

The controls of this game take a minute to get used to, but once you do they are actually fairly satisfying. A pet peeve of mine is having to google or youtube how to do fairly basic things that are basic and obvious in many games that arent made clear in other games (such as opening a car door) but once you got it, youll have a lot of fun. Keep it up!

I was encountering a glitch, if anyone was wondering. I managed to fix it, game is alright, albeit a bit empty. I'm taking a break because a different driving sim (based in canada) grabbed my attention
