Anyway you have 2 hours to retract if you don't like it. A good cpu is required because everything in the game is subject to physics, the slightest object interacts with the environment, the character and the npc.
The community is there to help overcome the imperfections and mechanics of the game...let yourself be tempted, you might not regret it 😉.
To me the bugs are either annoying or funny,
if you find them annoying you will never like this game because the fans love the janky stuff and you are not the target audience!
personally i'm holding out for a major update that will never come,
I got some fun, now I'm done.
Also you can mitigate/help to avoid the issues by packing things intelligently, not overloading storage areas and making sure items aren't clipping through the car's bodywork or into each other.
The game has so many positive reviews because its quirkiness , freedom and highly interactive fully physics based gameplay is fantastically entertaining and novel for such a low priced game.
OP if you've not played it yet, try it out; definitely worth the shot to at least see how you find it. Also Le-dede said, a good CPU as well as other main specs will make a difference; if your or your mate's rig is on the older or more budget side, that does increase the likelihood of physics issues.
when i say "invisible wall" i mean, nothing on the road, car running at 120 and suddently... BAM, and ofc wasnt one of the big or small rocks, so maybe was a "invisible rock", i ll tell to my friend to try the tips of preston, maybe the issue was from this.
The only World Based issue I have come across is Landscape Tearing, where sometimes a great void opens up, I was circling a Mini-Gas Station trying to escape a zombie, when I hit something and the zombie vanished, I got out of my car to find that the front wheels were hanging into the void, and the bumper was holding onto the other side of the terrain. With the Parking Break Off, I pushed the car back up to land and accidentally sending it straight down the hill at a speed I wasn't able to catch.
Other than the strange Terrain Bugs sometimes caused by Loading a Save (Wells are Buried) the extremely weird physics are funny.
Just yesterday, I learned that you can balance a Barrel on the new Leather Basket w/ Lid, and put it in your inventory.
There are joins in the road. When I'm dragging a small trailer behind a large truck, the back of the trailer drags along the ground and every time there's an invisible join it flies into the air.
Could be something similar?
Are you driving a Dacia by any chance? They're notorious for having an... interesting hitbox that interacts badly with the edge of the road. I'm guessing everything is fine, he drifts off the road a bit then nek minnit you're in the Bulgarian Space Program, am I right?
Always make sure your tires are in the best condition: take them off the rims and use the spray bottle on them - every 4 squirts will recover 1 level of condition. Use the cleanest rims you can - you can scrub them with a wire brush then use a spray bottle or sponge to shine them. Switch to whitewall tires for a little extra ground clearance. Try to stay fully on the road. And try different cars, some handle a lot differently to others.
