does a bus engine work in a normal car
found a bus and wondering if this works and if it does anything different from a normal engine

yes, it takes diesel. I think it gets bad gas mileage. It's fast if you set your car up right...

Normally it will only go 100km/h because it doesn’t rev too high. You would need bus wheels on the axle which is powering the car to achieve high speeds but that will result in a huge top heavyness

Since igoreuss told you... best car for it is a lada 2105 or maybe the 2101 too. Front engine rear drive. Put bus wheels in back and it's almost driveable easily gets over 200kmh, but a bit unstable for sure :) I managed to put 2k in one scary fast and hell of a hill climber.

theres a trick to making it fast. if you use keyboard to gas and get a small boost, then use I to turn ignition off, then use w to turn on and gas for a second. do this repeatedly and it will go very fast quickly.

If that's true its a bug that should be fixed...
idk about making you go fast but this is a good method to use when low on gas or coolant. has let me coast till i managed to find more. it still eats up resources but at a much much slower rate.
