How to turn off engine
Title is pretty self explanatory. I wanted to turn off the engine with the mouse and keyboard when I'm not using it.

That's the ignition. I tried that while the engine was running and it didn't stop the car.

as in the car keeps moving? have you tried shifting into neutral? engaging the handbrake? removing the engine?

Hey guys, I had the problem with that too, so most of the time I'm turning off the engine on the "normal" car by shifting gear to 1, engaging handbreake and simply tried to go forward. The engine was turning itself off by, I guess, stalling out.

The only two vehicles that ignition has no problem with turning their engines off were motorbike and bus.

Ok. I found the solution. I was holding the ignition rather than just tapping the I key. That's my bad; thanks a lot for your help.
