Other games like TLD?

Wondering if anyone knew of other games like TLD but in different settings? I keep coming back to this game for the zen factor and want more.
I had a dream about a game that was effectively TLD in space, if I knew half a lick about game making, I would make it, but currently probably only have the skills for asset creation.
I'd say that old/original No Man's Sky is pretty close, but it's latest incarnations are too...alive? There's something about the desolation and loneliness that resonates more with me, granted my dream game had 4 player mode and TES:Oblivion level towns and settlements, it was gritty and grim otherwise.
There's probably nothing out there with a perfect match, but even if just a seed idea to share, it seems worth bringing up given the latest failures of AAA studios.

The only games I can think of that are even remotely similar to this game are Under the Sand and Jalopy, however they are both older games and a little less-poly than TLD is...
There's only one problem with this game; there's not enough games that are similar to it lol
