How do I take off the sunglasses?

X on the keyboard. Then press the button you have assigned to pickup/drop. Same works with cigarettes.

If you have multiple items like Hats, Cigarette, Glasses, you need to repeat the process, it takes off or rather, selects one item at a time to take off or throw away or put back on.
