The battery light in a car lights to indicate that the battery is not being charged, which happens when the engine is turning to slow or not turning at all.
This isn't really an issue since the battery is always fully charged, so really it's only use is as a light to tell you when the engine is turning slowly.
Are you sure you put the correct fuel in the tank? Oil in the engine for a four stroke engine? That you are starting it in neutral?
Coolant is a mixture of Oil, alchohal, and water
Engine is just pure Oil like the fuel tank.
That may be the issue but I really dont know
Here is a list of things to make sure a car is gonna start in this game:
1. does it have fuel in the tank the two types of fuel are Gas and Diesel only a handful of the bigger trucks and tankers take diesel so if it is a normal car just put in gas.
2. Does the engine have oil you want to make sure the engine has as close to pure oil in it as possible.
3. Does the cooler have water in it try and use exclusively 100% water in it at all times if possible.
You should never mix gas/oil/water unless you need a little more juice to get you to the next pit stop or if you are using the Electric bike thing that only has one tank in which case you use a 97% gas 3% oil ratio.
If it isn't starting still diagnose it by making sure the engine and coolant tank are mounted properly. and if it still isn't turning over try the other fuel type gas if you put diesel in it or vise versa.
The VW golf mk1 can come in both Gas and Diesel configurations and it all depends on which engine is installed. The right engine is the gas engine in the link provided https://the-long-drive.fandom.com/wiki/VW_Golf?file=VwGolfEnginesBenzineDieselComparison.jpg
The caddy (the VW pickup) has the VW golfs Diesel engine by defualt so it uses Diesel. Currently all other large vehicles (both buses and Trucks) use Diesel.
There are 2 vehicles that are 2 stroke engines. The trabant (both versions) and the Ebetta moped. 2 stroke engines require a oil and gas mixture. While this mixture does not have to be perfect the recommended is 3% oil and 97% gas. But you can have something like 12% oil 88% gas if there is nothing good and it will still run albeit slower and with less power.
All other vehicles fallow basic rules regarding fuel and oil. Only Gas in the gas tank and only Oil in the engine. If you need to dilute the gas (oil is almost never a problem tbh) it's best to treat it %'s wise like a 2 stroke. Try to keep the gas mixture (diesel for diesel vehicles) above 85%.
As for vehicles that use radiators. Currently the way it works is you should find either find pristine (polished metal ones), great condition ones (no rust on them and "white") or neutral (no brown rust). This will make them more efficient and lose less liquid over distance (pristine ones have almost no lost over 150km in the desert). They should only have water and it's better to keep them with only water. The best overall radiator is the one found in the plymouth for most cars due to it's 20L of holding capacity and makes a great emergency thirst quencher. But to my knowledge outside the bus radiator, all radiators produce the same cooling levels and I just keep the model of radiator that the vehicle comes with.
