Custom Radio Randomly Skipping Tracks
My custom radio consistently keeps skipping tracks after one ends, I'll hear the very beginning of one song then it just skips the entire thing and plays another one, often doing this multiple times in a row before it finally starts playing one song in full.

No clue why it's doing this, I had already managed to fix the freezing between tracks by converting my .mp3 files to .wav files. Not sure if it's consistently doing it on the same songs or not, I feel like I might've heard some songs that were skipped once not be skipped the next time, but I've also noticed the opposite sometimes.

Also, on a semi-related note, is it possible to manually skip songs on the custom radio?

Hey there, I had something similar with one song. It kept cutting off 2/3 of the way through and going to a new song. It would never finish. I checked the file itself, and it somehow got truncated during the conversion from mp.3 to .wav formats. I had to reload the song from my HD and convert it again. Seems fine now. Perhaps you may have some corrupt song files? I recommend taking note of a title or two, and checking the song out of game...listen to it all the way through, make sure you have a complete song?

I had already tested the song in my music player, it was fine, but I also deleted it and re-converted it. No difference in the actual file, but the game still skipped it anyways.

There has been a similar issue reported on discord not long ago, and it was precisely something to do with the encoding type of some .wav files.
Some solutions were found to this.

Regarding your last note, the game doesn't have song skipping enabled by default. (I guess it wants to simulate an actual radio). There is however a mod that adds song Skipping with press of a button. And it also allows you to keep custom music disabled so it doesn't always run in the background, and just manually play songs when you want - which in a way can also solve your song skipping entirely.
It also loads songs slightly faster somehow, and has allowed some ppl to use .ogg / mp3 without as much of a freeze spike

I could easily convert my mp3s into ogg if it would fix the skipping issue, but it doesn't seem to be for the typical reason in my case unless my music player is somehow able to use the files fine while the game can't.

Where can I get this mod from?

If i recall correctly its something to do with the encoding used or something.
I can't recall exactly, but there was a whole thread on it in discord.
and yea the mods are on discord too, although i think you can just grab the link to the mods workshop from steam
if you don't wanna check on discord, search the guides here for the mods workshop
