Need specific guidance on attaching mechanics
I hate driving in real life but I love the game, mostly for the funky physics model. Who woulda thought that driving mindlessly on a seemingly endless road could be so much addictive. Kudos to developer.

Anyhow:

It would be nice to know the specifics of the attaching mechanics for metal bars and baskets. Here is what I discovered so far:
1. Baskets: You put things in or on them, and after they stabilize, the items lock on the basket (most of the time), and afterward you can attach the basket to wherever you want.
2. Hollow metal bars: You can attach them anywhere at one end, but you cannot attach anything to them (except a basket or another metal bar). So, from what I understand, the metal bar is only useful as a fence to store items inside, which means it is not useful at all for this purpose. You cannot attach two ends (or the sides) of the metal bar to two different objects (big bummer).

Is there anything else to it? It would be nice to have items attach to the metal bar (similar to the basket), and you can attach the bar to another surface to have a stable storage space. At this time, I don't see much functional use for the metal bars.

Any additional info on the attachment mechanics would be greatly appreciated.

You got them all correct. I used Metal Bars a lot. And usually they Work Okayish aslong you dont got Crazy speeds and make proper and good fitting spaces for Items like Barrels or such a like. Nontheless, the wonky Physics will give you a crazy time while carrying something with Metal Bars. I usually put everything small enough into baskets and only Barrels behind Bars or if possible tow tankers or get a W50 Truck which can carry 4 Barrels as if they were in Baskets not making them strange Physics objects.

Try to have no Free floating Objects in or on your Car if possible.
High Speeds paired with wonky Physics in addition to curvy Roads are not really fun aslong you dont like flying to Mars.
