No controller support?
This game has been out for like...two years, and has no native controller support? That's absolutely ridiculous for *a driving game* and makes me seriously question the priority of the devs (i.e. they already have some level of VR support, but no controller support? Seriously?)

I look up online, and you can manually map the controls, but only for driving and not walking.

That is....just awful, and I'm gonna refund the game as I need to use a controller to play it.

Genuinely disappointed as it looks great, I just don't have a m&kb setup to use due to major space constraints.

why do you HAVE to use a controller to play?

Some people physically need a controller due to their own reasons. I'm physically disabled. I came looking to see if there was controller support before I buy. I guess that's one less game I'll be able to play.

If you don't mind taking the time to make your own control scheme I suggest you look into a free program called JoyToKey. It has made many games otherwise unaccesible to me able to be played. it's alot of effort and it's a pain in the rear but once you get done tweaking you may just find you enjoyed setting it up more than the game itself :D

I like that you clearly didn't even finish reading my post before commenting as I literally explain why in the last line.

Good job.

I play a lot of games with joytokey with controller and mouse at the same time. Joystick to drive and both to walk around. It's pretty easy once you get your controls down.

I'm surprised you didn't just make the right stick act as the mouse to be honest.

True. I might try it to look around when i'm driving, but i honestly never need to. Plus i like the smoothness of the mouse better for looking around when i'm walking. I tried using right trigger for gas but finger gets tired real easy, instead of using right trigger lol. I'll have to play around with it a little cuz theres so many options :)

Controller and or wheel support is a must have in this day and age, Nobody wants to play a driving game with a keyboard. and to not have native controller support as a minimum is just plain lazy.
Was looking to buy this for something different to play tonight but wont bother now.

cool that's good to know but still needs pad support. as much as i love sim games with a wheel this seems a sit back and controller game to me.

To anybody who is interested, whether disabled or not but prefers keyboard and mouse and is also tired of having a whole keyboard where most of it is redundant and can be difficult to just put on the lap or move around... Consider buying an additional keyboard for use with games - search for "one handed gaming keyboard", there are many designs to choose from.

Bingo! That's one of 2 reasons I like controller support.

First off I've broken most of my fingers so sometimes using a keyboard is...painful. controller is far more comfortable.

Secondly I have my pc in my living room and while I do have a couchmaster which is a thing that lets you easily use MKB on a couch sometimes I just wanna use a controller because it's easier and some games are just straight up better.

I was about to buy this but no controller support...no deal.

I just ended up buying BeamNG Drive instead - no regrets.

there is Controller and wheel support but controller and wheel are only for inside the car so sadly not fully Controller compatible
