Camper vs Tanker?
I'm at a point in the game where my current vehicle is a tanker truck (currently has 300L of diesel in it) and I've found a truck with the metal shed enclosure on the back. I'm not sure which one to use from this point on, I kind of want the camper but I would like to know which one you would pick and why.

Also, does anyone know if there is a ladder or something I can use to make getting into the camper easier?

In my opinion, the only thing the tanker can do better than the camper is to carry more fuel. So if you want to get to the end of the road quickly with as less stops as possible that would be the one to pick. Camper is the more popular choice since it has room to carry a lot of different things. Not 100% sure on this, but I think a fully loaded tanker could be a nightmare getting up steep hills due to its weight. I have seen discussions about weight distributions having an effect on driving.

As for the ladder no there is not one. Just got to spam the jump button to climb inside. You could use one of those wooden ramps but that is a pain to carry around everywhere.

If you get a mod that makes katona (camper) uplift have physics lock inside it’s better, otherwise tanker is better

I'd go with the camper. Lots of room for cargo, as long as you use baskets to keep it. You can always try pulling a tanker too.

I was a big fan of the tanker, but problem with it is once you get over 1000 litres of diesel stored in the tank, the truck gets very difficult to drive. With the weight of the fuel being that height on the truck, it throws off the centre of gravity, and the truck is just a handful at any decent speed, and its a world of hurt going down a steep hill. If you keep the fuel in the tank to 750 litres or less its ok.

I've become a fan of the camper, since you can put a bed and tv and computer in the back, and make a kind of home away from home. I set 4 baskets on the floor for the legs of the bed to sit in to hold the bed in place. I use 2 other baskets to hold the tv and computer in place while I'm driving. If you collect up 8 - 10 steel beams, you can make a ladder out of those which makes it a great deal easier to get into the back of the camper.

Find some barrels, you only need four, and put the 300l Diesel into them and into the Mobile Command Center truck (it's not a camper).

i vote for the tanker. you can have plenty of fuel in it, and as for carrying stuff, you can practically carry anything on it by putting things into baskets and attach the baskets anywhere on the car.

i also recommend putting the ikarus engine in the tanker. it has higher performance, so you won't have any problems with steep hills. only it will use 35-40 litres of diesel per 100, instead of 25. :D

This exists? Please link if you can.

I always recommend the other way around, camper trailer with tanker truck. The only reason, the nozzle on the driver side of the tank can be swung to the left and directly emptied into the truck tank, saving time on the refuel.
