The Long Drive

Game optimization
the game gives out 8 fps at ultra, although my computer is much more powerful than what is written in the system requirements

+1 I'm well above the minimum and i have to lower some things and cut my draw distance in half to maintain above 60 fps. I imagine at the minimum it will be very difficult to even play. There should be suggested requirements listed as well

i had the same issues, turning down my res to 1280 x 1024 fixed it.
also try limit fps to 60 in the settings menu, high fps can cause the physics to bork.

If you watch the laatest trailer on youtube they commented: "For now, we want to implement the impostor technology - if you dont know what it is look it up, it will be amazing. Then we can add more objects to our scenes, and it will improve the performance greatly!"
8 fps at ultra, but i have intel core i5-2310, Geforce GTX 1650 4gb game in ssd, And 6gb ram

Might want to add some more RAM to that setup

I have an old I7 2600 and 12gb ram gtx970 4gb, its your cpu that is struggling at only 4 threads also only max off 3.2 ghz its going to struggle, also if the game is single thread you need more GHZ to see an improvement, my i7 is 4 core 8 threads 3.8 overclocked 4.5, you only have 4 threads 4 cores this will greatly limit gaming also 1650 with that cpu, you will never get full gaming performance out off that card with that cpu you are bottlenecked by your cpu limiting game and limiting your gpu, you need more threads or cores, for this game your ram is ok, some others you will have a hard time, ram does not give you amazing fps even ram speed is only a small improvement, cpu gpu will give performance ram will give you less stutters and hangs if not enough or not run at all, it makes things smother more work space not vast amounts off processing power, even my I7 could not use that card to its max

My PC is from 2009, but it runs the game beautifully, I've never turned down any setting other then disabling depth of field, but it consistently at the 60fps limit
My CPU is a old Xeon though, with 12 cores, 24 threads

I believe this game likes all the threads it can get, it's got some very intense physics and the terrain generation and huge distances involved means you need a good CPU with lots of cores

They should have the graphics card do some of the job, I had to take off the grass, cause my processors were lagging -.- really? The processors generate the grass ingame?
