What am I doing wrong with the bus?

So finally figured out how to open bus doors. Took of the panels and it has:
Oil Tank: Filled. Also new.
Coolant: Full, but from a car since bus one was rusty.
Diesel engine: Almost full. New. All diesel fuel.

And yet it keeps smoking. Does it not run on Diesel? Or is it the car Coolant part that is messing it up? Thanks.

The car radiator isn't enough to keep the bus engine cool. You need a radiator that holds 10 litres of water. Either a bus or truck radiator.

Have you put the diesel in the fuel tank... or put it in the engine


Oil goes in engine, diesel goes in fuel tank

It’s not essential, it might overheat after some time but the bus should drive anyways

I see thanks for the replies. Yeah replaced the cooler with a 10L from another car and it worked. When I found the bus it was in perfect condition. Never seen a perfect vehicle spawn. Well aside from its bad cooler.
