What is the weird metal bar?

I just started playing (after a long time) for the update and I don't know what it is. I also realized it can pin to things. If you are confused on what I'm talking about it is the metal bar with a bunch of holes in it. Also where can I get the computer (or console, I forget what it is) that plugs into the tv?

The hollow metal bar is essentially posts that you can put on your car to hold things either on the outside or inside. They currently are kind of buggy when it comes to doors and hoods though.

For example, you can use 3 to 7 of them to hold a barrel on the back/top of your car.

The computer (the AIO inside a keyboard) can be found at the starting house next to the TV. It can also be found inside other buildings, most commonly inside the garage with the short antenna with the red light on the roof.

I'll keep that in mind but can you do anything with the computer?

You cannot put barrels on metal bars as that is not what they are for.

You can "hold" a barrel in place using minimal bars, assuming you have it in something like a trailer or inside a bus. I have a barrel in the back corner of my bus and used two bars to "hold" it in place. it is not locked, but the bars are, so they keep it from rolling around. I put them in a "V" configuration, across the back corner. Worked great!
