how do I get a bus fast without any mods

Not that i've found, but put that engine in a car with the bus wheels as drive wheels and it'll fly.

They appear at random places just like cars. Only thing you can try is keep restarting and hope theres a bus near the beginning that has the parts. Remember you also need the diesel fuel lots of oil and water. Best to just get a car, get the fuel, oil and water and then keep searching.

goto bus stop
save game
exit out
start game , and continue.
should have a bus appare , works for me every time.

only down side is bus is filled with gas not diesel , so before you leave house fill one 20lit can with diesel from down stairs. and put it in your car
unless you can put drum in instead

down side to bus is going up hill can be very bad, very steep slopes can bring bus to stop.

Another thing you can do once you get a working bus is save every so often where there's a good car and when you do hit a hill the bus can't get up you can revert back, swap the bus parts into your car and then look for another bus again. To me the games about having the supplies you need so you can swap out when you want to to keep going.

I estimate i pass a bus about every 100km. Whether it has wheels, engine, gas, oil, radiator, water is a different story. Get the diesel fuel and water and if you're lucky enough to find the big radiator fine. it still might run on the car radiator, not sure. If you do find the bus engine, that will be trickier because then to take it you'll have to put it in your car and run it that way with diesel fuel. i believe a diesel car gets very bad fuel economy that way unless you use the big bus wheels in the back, which are hard to drive with. It is a mission if you don't find a complete bus with parts in tact, but you will eventually.

found a good bus and it only took about 1400 km, no fuel or water in it though but all parts :)
