After I got away from the starter garage, The sand slowly dropped lower and lower until only the road was in front or behind you. I saw one building I would have enjoyed searching, but it hovered ominously in the distance, unreachable. When I walked off the road, I dropped into open sky, and even the sweet embrace of gravity was for naught, as when I finally found the ground again, I simply passed right through into oblivion.

Needless to say: I had to restart. :)

I managed to get a decent seed the second time around, and got to about 50 klicks before the world disappeared. Floating bus stops are very jetsons. It was neat.

Try lowering the draw distance, it should help. On some computers, the world generation seems to be acting slow and buggy, maybe write down your specs, it could help us get closer to the solution.

AMD ryzen 7 1700X cpu, RX480 radeon, 24 gig GDDR5 ram, running on an Asus prime b450 plus.

But I'm not complaining about the game. There's been like two updates and it's early access: so stuff like this happens. I found it funny as all hell, as well as good practice for staying on the road. :) Since you mentioned it was the world gen, what I'll do next time is just park the car and wait. See what happens.

Thank you! :D It's good that you found it funny. :D I don't know what happens when you wait, maybe it will catch up, not sure, but if you save and load, it should be working fine again(at least I think so, based on other reports) If I remember correctly you're the first, who has this problem and has AMD cpu, not Intel

Neat: I always have such interesting glitches. I guess I'll try not to move at 120 kph any more. Maybe keep it in second gear for a while.
