So i found this in the mailbox at the beginning of the game. Visting your mom? Is this the goal?

i guess i missed the letter too :D I'm at about 850km so it'd take a while. I haven't seen the bug people have said that stops you from going further so idk. At this point i think it's more about the journey, but we'll have to see

i am not that far, i am at 600 km. I don´t have the issues some people have aswell. So hopefully i can get further.

There's a german youtuber that is doing the full 5000 Km journey. so far he's in the 4000's and still no bug. I think the bug happens if you do 500+ km in one sitting, because I heard if you get the bug, you can save the game, quit and go back in, and it will fix it.

well i am at 1000 km now but i am waiting for a bit more content and bug fixes in general before i continue my journey. i did experince some bugs on the way but mange to keep going.

I got 800 km, but then when I load game I spawn under the map xD So I think reaching 5000km is inposible.

To lower likelihood of this happening make sure you save inside your car, on the road and a ways up the road from any location such as a bus stop, building or gas station or whatever. Always good to have a backup save too. I've done the 5k and only dealt with this a time or two on that trip, those times were only when I'd saved right next to a building. If you do have that happen and you don't have a backup save start a new game and fool around a little before loading the "broken" save again. You can end up not falling through the ground once in a while which would allow you to run to the next place with a vehicle and keep going. Worth it if you're many KM into your journey.
