Hotel seems bugged in Oni Trial

I would rest and turn on auto in academy. The hero will hire automatically, but doesn't choose any equipment and after a second the hero disappears and then the hotel tries to heal the hero again.

-Yes I have just the hotel and just the academy.
-I'm on trying to capture the third tile in the First Oni Trial.
-I have selected the hero equipment before turning auto on.

With it glitched like this. It makes Hotel a useless tile option.

This is glitched outside Oni Trial too, sometimes happens to me in the regular run. Happens not only with Hotels, but with any auto-attacks.

I've seen it blink like this, but I'm not sure that it even consumes an AAP, when it does that. My number didn't look like it went down. Maybe it's just a visual glitch.

It decreases Oni holiness twice, so it's not just a visual

it also takes the 5M wheat on regular... it seems to be repeatable, the first time it's doing an auto-revive, it double revives.

It appears to be running out to battle without equipment of any sort and therefore having an instant-death. The death appears to be avoidable if you wait until healed, and then click auto from the screen when not attacking.
