Is it possible to play offline?

Hi all,

I enjoyed this game and used to play the android version a lot, and occasionally id play the steam version.

I wasn't really able to play it the back end of last year and recently I had to factory reset my phone. Then i found I couldn't play the game on my phone as it was unable to connect to the servers to download the extra files.

So I tried on my desktop as that already had it all installed, but was unable to connect so I wasn't able to sign in.

Is there any way I can still play offline? I used to just do matches against ai, I hardly every played against or with other people.

So I'd love to still be able to play against ai. Is it possible? Even if it needs modding to do so?

I have been trying to find out the same thing, I will let you know if I find anything, please let me know if you figure anything out
