judging by your description, you are in the Secret Laboratory and that you have come up with a 2.5-hour gameplay from the proposed 4 hours, +11 levels are still waiting for you. In the cyber lab you must collect 7 keys in each of the 7 laptops and download (download data) from the server that survived the cataclysm. Each time the station guide should tell you a new key number from a new laptop. Try again, if this does not happen, will we send you a video of passing this level or tell me what exactly is your problem? So de I did not quite understand what kind of plasma stream you are talking about, if it is a plasma cutter, then it is a melee weapon and it should very well help you in battle. Waiting for your comment.

as for the arc over laptops at the very beginning of the game, they can’t be opened, we don’t have a tablet for interaction with them yet. He will appear later on the story mission # 1, the video of which I sent you
Yeah, those things on the tables with flashing blue light over them are devices from which you can get keys that you need:) To interact with those devices (notebooks) you need to press the Menu button on HTC / B on the Knuckles / X on the Oculus devices on the left controller. Through that device, we call it METIS - Multifunctional Explorer Tool for Integration in Systems, you can connect to notebooks and get the keys.
Also, you can interact with all things with flashing blue light over them, by using METIS or physically (if it's a button) or by clicking right trigger on it (if it's a lever).
Wish you an enjoyable play ;)
no need to send instructions on the last level.....I redid that level and finished the early access game...received the Thank you for playing early access, etc sign at the door to the control room.
Some initial comments/review:
Overall, this is an excellent game. Really enjoyed this game and the graphics are beautiful.
Compliments to all of you for a superb effort and BS may be the best VR game in 2020!
A couple of glitches... like the last level...u can get to the very end and not be able to finish the level because access is denied and you cannot go back. I made this mistake twice because I missed pulling an earlier level that sends the fuel/fire through the above fixture. You can use the door code and move forward without pulling the fuel lever; but once that gates close and turns orange as you proceed all the way to the end precludes you from returning to the area where the fuel lever is located. In other words, all I had to do to complete this level was pull the final lever, but access was denied because I failed to pull an earlier level and could not return to that area.
Another glitch is that on a couple of different levels following some intense combat with robots, the screen became very blurry and cloudy and stayed like that till I quit or went back to the main menu.
Overall, game runs well with good controls and movement. I played on INTERN.
OH...should have stated earlier; my system is Windows 10 64 bit; I7-8700k Intel CPU; 32GB RAMS, NVIDIA 1080TI Card.
Also, I was not sure how to use the machine guns and/or protective blue shield. Inadvertently, machine guns would fire from my shoulders during movement or a blue force field would launch from me...not sure how or what buttons i pressed to do this. I could not get it to work during combat. Would recommend that the tutorial cover use of guns, laptops, etc and explain the upgrade system as I am not sure I completely understood the upgrade system in GENOME.
Devs, you have to get rid of the corny computer generated voices...really bad and takes a way from an excellent game.
Some players will more than likely give negative reviews based on their opinion that the levels get very redundant as one progresses through the game. I DID NOT think the levels were redundant, but some of the computer generated voice messages were redundant.
Last, and my biggest recommendation, is to make your final levels the best part of the game and somewhat different than the current levels. Most VR games start off really strong and then die toward the end of the game with really bad endings or no endings. I think some of the best computer and VR games have great endings which ties the story together throughout the game. More than simply killing a final BOSS and the game is over...this is not a good ending in my opinion. For example, Deliver Us The Moon is a recently released PC game which has a very powerful ending (have to watch it all the way through the credits for the ending).
I am not implying or saying to significantly change any of your current levels, but the last part of the game will make or break this game as to an outstanding game or a good game. Has to be a real OH, WOW! for the last part of the game.
Thanks for being accessible and thanks again for a superb VR game. Wish you guys the very best, do not hesitate if i can help in any way. I look forward to the final version of BOILING STEEL!
