Game too easy?
Since I got to the moon, almost every one in my party one hits every enemy, even with skills that give energy, is this normal? Even the boss before the astronomer did not even attack once in the whole battle. I actually put the encounter rate down and stop buying equipment, but even on the next planet, it is like impossible to lose fights.

The ship fights get a bit harder

Did you go running through side quests before hand or what? I've been getting maimed rather quickly against all the bosses so far.

Just fought the Iceworld boss, and it really got harder now, the fight was good balanced for my party (atleast until the cook instant killed the boss at like 50% health left)

Cook? So you have been side questing.

By any chance do you have story mode engaged?

I've also had the Cook insta-kill a boss. For reference, I had the Teacher set the minigame difficulty to Hard, so abilities did more damage, but wouldn't have expected THAT much. Was a bit surprising seeing half it's health bar just vanish, when most other hits were ticking away maybe a 10th at a time. Might be something I wouldn't mind patched out for bosses, specifically, but was still funny to see happen in a game. XD

Back to the difficulty, it does seem a bit low, since unlike Citizens of Earth, you can only modify minigame difficulty, not enemy difficulty (as far as I'm aware, don't have all Citizens yet), and even if you "miss", you still do pretty decent damage. So eventually you kinda power-level beyond any challenge, since doing multiple phases in random encounters is so easy and gives tons of exp.

Edit: Also the Banker's summon ability gets to absolutely broken amounts of damage, I have him at 3*, most characters around level 20, and by getting around 250-300 coins in the minigame, I'm seeing enemies take upwards of 10-20k damage (sometimes more if hitting ice weakness). Not sure what the damage scales with, in particular, but most of my characters only deal maybe 500 hitting weakness with a Super, so that's quite the leap in damage difference, and the damage always refills the charisma meter back to 100, so you can immediately reuse the summon after one other action. ^^;
