DLC Story Context

I was wondering there is any new story/story context for the DLC. Does it include a more final ending type thing or is it just the endless reincarnation trials with seemingly no way to break them.

Or is the Netherworld content provide a more definitive ending? I am not currently good enough to reach it.

Endings of the "evil" characters, are not "more final" outside maybe of "Muahahaha! Now I'M in control!" type of thing. They do, however, add small context to the original characters.

Chapter 7 in base game does change ending, all while retaining status quo - having those characters run reincarnation trial over and over again.

All I got from DLC is that after Chaper 7 (in the main story) their souls being torn out from their bodies to create those Demons we play as. No one is in control. They still trapped in this endless loop, just much less themselves now. Kinda sad, tbh.

Would love to see any conclusion in the second game for this story, since it's gonna be more diablo-like, rather than tboi-rougelike.
