Terror of Hemasaurus
Any potential for a toggle to turn off blood/corpses?
Want to show it to someone younger, but not really comfortable leaving that in. Would make a nice option to have a bit of a cleaner experience.

Bumping this request. I also want to play this with my kids and would appreciate the option to turn off the blood. I'll wait to purchase until this option is available.
Similar request - can we have an option to filter out the swearing too?

The game looks like a wonderful update to Rampage that I'd like to play with my son.
Be cool to your kids and let them have the cartoon blood and gore for Fuchs' sake. Nothing exhibited herein has the potential to traumatize a child.

not to poke holes in this thread, but...this game has violence, eating, throwing, and throwing people, eco cultist-ism/terrorism, morally corrupt messages, and wanton destruction, but you draw the line at the blood and gore?
unless theyre really young, like below 5, i wouldnt worry too much, but i do understand your concern. plus its fun enjoying games with family. at least its not GTA or some crap like that.

I mean, yeah.

VERY few kids under, say, 12 is going to know or care about terms like eco-terrorism or militant-capitalism. Conversely, pretty much any kid who's ever skinned their knee while rollerskating is going to recognize what the "red stuff" flying out of people are.

There's a big difference. One is a universal sign of pain. The other is a bunch of adult-mumbo-jumbo.
Just switch red with white and call it sweat. Label the option SNES MK mode.

1000 people exploding in cold sweat due to the situation with the giant lizard being so stressful? xD
This game would REALLY benefit from a kid friendly mode/series of rating friendly toggles.
Is this thread satire? Because the game openly mocks requests to "tone down the violence" in games that are inherently violent in their conception.

There is literally a cutscene where a focus group, funded by a corrupt game publisher, asks for an option to disable gore. The whole game is satirical not only with regards to climate change, but about videogame violence, among other things.

I mean, I understand you not wanting to expose your kids to this kind of violence, nothing wrong with that, just wanted to point out that it is unlikely the author will add such an option, as it would be contrary to their vision.

*thinks back on all the Chinese censored versions of anime which paint blood white so it looks like... a certain bodily fluid instead*

I'm... not sure you want that particular option, buddy. Not unless you want to make it look even less suited for children. :cgrazz:

I've noticed this stuff, and it's hilarious. They should probably just emulate Rampage if they want to show this style game to their kids.
i have my 7 year old play this game. he handles this with maturity in the process. he sees the blood but he realize its just a video game, a cartoony one.
If we're going to censor the gore and swearing, can we please have an option to turn off the politics? I don't like politics in my games.

*stares at your hours playing Fallout, Yakuza, Arma III, Just Cause...*

Yes dev, why do you have to go and put politics in our games? Like any sort of media product, videogames are supposed to only have politics I agree with be 100% apolitical, so these politics I don't like should be removed from the game.

However, if you were to remove any of the politics I do agree with, that would be "censorship" and "cancel culture". Because that's how this works, apparently.

Nope.
