I'd like to know if there's a way to spectate recorded rounds of other ghost players, while removing your own player from the round. Until now, I haven't figured out how to remove the first player after adding the ghosts.
Although, I don't see how you could watch golf in career mode, since the idea would be to play out your career. But, if there were different tee times and such, that would be a cool thing to do, watching other groups go off. But, I'm pretty sure this game is not that advanced.
Most sports games I watch CPU vs CPU and control certain aspects of the Franchise. I watch all the games play out in NBA 2K21 (Myleage) and Madden 21 (Franchise) The games allow it. It’s like being GM for all the teams.
You get it!! Thanks. There was one golf game that allowed this years ago but forget which one.
Someone else said there used to be a game out circa 2000, that allowed you to switch to other cpu players out on the course during the tournament.
Anyhow, PGA 2K21 tries to fake it, with canned highlights, which someone discovered to be just a set of pre-recorded shots played back over and over again, to the point that you may see the exact same cpu shot twice in one round. Kind of underwhelming, to say the least.

Also, with 2K on board, the push is most likely going to be for online with packs and such, which will hopefully also help to improve the horrendous, virtually nonexistent level of multiplayer, which has been suffering mightily throughout The Golf Club series.
But, it wouldn't hurt if a game developer actually tried to simulate a golf tournament, from start to finish, where all of the players went off in groupings, at defined tee times, and the user player could jump in and take over, or just watch. That level of immersion hasn't even been approached in this current gen of golf games.
Thanks and agreed! I'm not trying to swing a club with a joy stick., not that type of PC gamer
