Unless I'm missing something, I haven't seen a patch for PC. But then again, I seem to have figured things our and can now hit mostly perfects and putting without a meter is not hard at all. So maybe I'm better off without any patches???

Got this tip from Reddit , it is thee solution 100%. Go into graphics settings and turn off Vsync. You will then suddenly be hitting perfect tempo and swing plane significantly more easily. I could not figure out why my swing was bust being pretty decent at previous TGC games. 10 minutes later with this tip, hitting the ball perfectly again. Now the only thing is I am having unlearn some bad habits over last months due to using a broken swing mechanism. Try it and let me know how you go!

Mouser swing works perfectly on my end. That is once I practiced and actually bothered to learn the swing mechanics by playing the game. If you have not beaten the tour part of the game on amateur or amateur/pro then you havent bothered to try and learn. Perfect your swing then perfect your timing. You will never grasp the second without a great swing to build on. The game is set up with training wheels to progressively get you better and better no matter your skill level. But you are kicking off the training wheels and pushing yourself down the biggest hill in the game. Then crying the bike is broke because you skinned your knee. I loved the last golf game and came into it at 19.95 on sale. Thought everyone was cheating. lol. Got good. Looking forward to this. First few days were brutal. The mechanics did not translate to this game. The windspeed and elevation math did not translate. The shot type and ball roll did not translate. It took me weeks to get 2019 out of head. Then I thought the swing had this built in randomness. Honestly I still do but not in the way you think. It seems when I win a match by more than 3 the next match will be a slightly slower of faster swing speed but as long as you got your timing you can work around it. I personally believe this is an anti cheat feature. To prevent using scripts for perfect shots. After throwing away everything I knew from 2019 my swing steadily got better but my swing didnt click till I understood the timing aspect. Dont get me wrong. I still hit it in the water. I still miss 4 foot putts. Its golf. But 8 out of 10 times the ball goes where I want it to. Or close enough. An achievement called "I have the power" was the way I finally felt I actually understood the swing and what actually happens when I mess up. Just try it out. Nothing to lose. You hit the ball at 103% for this achievement. Search for the course "I have the power" put it on BEGINNER. This is so you can see in the power bar exactly where the sweet spot is. It is HUGE on beginner. Then you can see how insanely small that sweet spot is on pro. And maybe that sweet spot is all in my head. Maybe Im insane. But it took me over 100 hours of play to find this delusion and it works for me. Might save you some time.

Could be totally wrong but I've found that in game mouse sensitivity does very little...so I keep it at 100%. What I 've found to be more important is the Windows mouse pointer speed. For example if I set the Windows mouse pointer speed to 5 of 11...even with well timed shots ALL shots are very slow. If I set speed to 8 of 11...even well timed shots ALL are very fast. If using 6 of 11 most shots good with a few slightly slow...7 of 11 most shots good a few slightly fast. So I need 6.5. I settle for 7 of 11...seems best combination. so if you think you hit good timed shots but get bad results...maybe try this.

I've seen this mentioned before but it doesn't work for me. Makes the glide on the power bar jerky. Slow bad on every shot not matter swing consistency. Maybe there is some trick to it or a special mouse setting. It does register as straight but you can never swing right. I'm guessing it's already addressed. I'm also guessing if it worked for you then you would be using it.
